Recipe | Taco Seasoning

 

Tacos are on a regular rotation in our house.  I prefer making my own taco seasoning for recipes that call for a taco seasoning packet. The spices and herbs can be adjusted according to your taste.   

***I like to make a triple batch of this Taco seasoning, and store it in a canning jar.  

I measure 3 Tablespoons--- with one pound of ground meat.

Taco Seasoning

1  Tablespoon chili powder

1  teaspoon ground cumin

1/2  teaspoons garlic powder

1/2  teaspoon onion powder

1/2  teaspoon paprika

1/2  teaspoon oregano

1/8  teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional

1  teaspoon salt

1/2  teaspoon ground black pepper

Mix together and store in airtight container.
