Swiss Steak
Preheat over 350*F
4 cubed steak or round steak
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 Tablespoons avocado oil or enough to cover the bottom of the frying pan liberally
2 14.5 oz. cans of Hunts no-salt added stewed tomatoes
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Combine spices together and sprinkle on steak.
Dredge steak in flour on both sides.
Heat avocado oil in skillet over medium high heat and add steak.
Fry steak until golden brown 6-7 minutes on each side.
Meanwhile add stewed tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce in a baking dish or Dutch oven.
When steaks are brown add to stewed tomatoes and spoon tomatoes over the steaks.
Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
