Classic Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients:
2   Tablespoons all-purpose flour
1   teaspoon salt
1/2  teaspoon dry mustard
1/4   black pepper
2 1/2   cups whole milk
2   Tablespoons butter
2   cups (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
8  oz.  Mueller's elbow macaroni (about 1 3/4 cups) cooked, 7 minutes and drained

Method:                                                                                        Preheat oven 375* F
In medium saucepan combine first 4 ingredients, stir in milk.  
Add butter, stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium-high heat, and boil 1 minute.  
Remove from heat.
Stir in 1 3/4 cups grated cheddar cheese until melted.  
Add cooked macaroni.
Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
Sprinkle with reserved cheese.

Baked uncovered in 375* F oven for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

Makes 4-6 Servings

Optional Bread Crumb Topping:
1/2   cup plain breadcrumbs or Panko
3   Tablespoons melted butter

Mix breadcrumbs or panko with melted butter.
Sprinkle on top of macaroni and cheese in casserole, and bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
