Our Vacation | Mackinac Island

     On Wednesday  we went to Mackinac Island.  While we were waiting on the pier for the ferry----- the boys rode their bikes and I snapped a few pictures. 

                

                               I loved the ferry ride----it reminded me of being on the Bob-Lo Boat.

 There's a 'Stonehenge' phenomenon along the coast of the island.

The boys love skipping stones on the lake.

We had lunch at the Cannonball.

What a spectacular view of the Island and Lake Huron from the Arch Rock.

 We went inside the gorgeous Grand Hotel and walked around the veranda.

We rocked----on the veranda too! 

We went to Goodfellow's for dinner.

Drinking an ice cold beer was very refreshing after a day of biking. 

I love this vintage Sanders cooler.  The chocolate Bumpy Cakes are delicious!

Erich cooled off with an ice cream cone from Sanders after dinner.  Yum!

 We decided to go biking again before we went back on the ferry.

Mackinaw Island is so beautiful, I didn't want to leave.
